Planned Parenthood finds God?

Planned Parenthood's Interfaith Prayer Breakfast

A speaker talks about having a Christian attitude when dealing with Pro-lifers:

"They're a religious tradition, too, and they are moved by Scripture," he said, although the Bible says nothing explicit about abortion*.
*Yeah, as long as you don't count "Thou Shall Not Kill". That's really kind of an ambiguous commandment, don't you think? I mean, really, that could be interpreted in so many different ways, right?

The quote that makes me think of black pots and kettles:

Mr. MacColl quoted the theologian Reinhold Niebuhr: "'Sometimes the worst evil is done by good people who do not know that they are not good.'"

OH yes indeedy....I just love a good rationalization in the morning! If you are going to be for killing babies...you really should just say: Hey, the mother and her whatever reasons are more important so lets be for killing babies." But to try to rationalize it away with scripture is just sick.
